Job Description and Requirements
The College seeks Teacher Educators at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level with expertise in one of the following areas : Curriculum and Instruction, Education Studies, Early Childhood Education, Math Education, Science Education, English Language Education or Educational Psychology.
The positions require that the successful applicants engage in scholarly research, contribute to course development, and offer service to the college and the university.
An earned Doctoral Degree in any of the following areas of specialization is required : Curriculum and Instruction, Education Studies, Early Childhood Education, Math Education, Science Education, English Language Education or Educational Psychology.
Candidates should have a record of publications and a significant research agenda in evidence.
Candidates must be qualified and experienced in teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels. Pedagogical expertise with young learners is preferred.
Experience in working with second language learners is a plus, and professional development experience in K-12 is valued.
Although not a specific requirement, particular consideration will be given to faculty who have experience in international or bilingual environments, or who can work effectively in both English and Arabic.
