Th8 Dubai is a pre-opening 5* hotel, locatedat the Palm Jumeirah Island, inspired by the fashion, glamour andjet-set lifestyle of the cool white sands and art deco scene ofMiami Beach.

The hotel boasts of its direct beach access withuninterrupted views of the Palm, Dubai's iconic skyline andthe Arabian Sea that will provide an ultimate luxury experience atthe Palm Jumeirah.

The project has a total of 162 guest rooms andsuites and 3 food beverage outlets with creative & uniqueconcepts. In addition the hotel also features meeting facilitiescovering over 200 square meters that can host a range of eventsfrom small corporate meetings, product launches and team buildingactivities to outdoor receptions and bespoke social events beachand poolside.

Summary ofResponsibilities :

  • Ensure the highest levels ofguest service through the application of all Fairmont Palm Jumeirahand Fairmont Core standards and standard operatingpolicies.
  • To make sure all soiled linen isregularly emptied from the pantry and returned to the linenroom.
  • To stock up all pantries with cleanlinen according to par-stock.
  • To assist thelinen room as required with daily tasks.
  • Toreport immediately any lost / found article to securityoffice.
  • To report any equipment this ismalfunctioning.
  • To be responsible to sign forassigned key, communication device, work paper and return by end ofshift.
  • To vacuum all corridors and staircasesas assigned by section.
  • To bring any guestsupplies weekly to pantries according to weekly orderlist.
  • To note all guest requests received viaOffice / Supervisors / Switchboard and carry out exactly allrequests.
  • To move furniture from time totime.
  • To refill daily chemicals.
  • To clean all walls lights / ceiling lights asrequired.
  • To assist with the removal ofguestroom curtains for cleaning.
  • To conductdeep cleaning tasks as assigned (e.g. Spot carpet cleaning, showerhead de-scaling, etc).
  • To replace guestroomlight bulbs as they fuse.
  • To keep HousekeepingOffice, floor pantries & storerooms clean & tidy atall times.
  • To report anything which could beclassed as a Health & Safety hazard.
  • Assist in on job training of new Housemen as and whenrequired.
  • To attend any training courses givenby Housekeeping and Human Resources.
  • To complywith any reasonable request by the Supervisor and HotelManagement
