Position Summary

The Quality Manager is a key member of the team in-charge of the design and implementation of the Quality Management System.

The role of QM includes defining Quality Standards for all systems and complying to the same as well as promoting the quality achievement and performance improvement of the entire organization.

General Responsibilities

Comply always and fully with LIN SCAN HSE requirements

Be quality conscious (dynamic approach towards quality improvement and aim at getting things right first time)

Maintain confidentiality, integrity and safeguard LIN SCAN trade secrets

Respect and support fellow employees at all times

Respond to changes positively (technical advancements as well as organizational adaptations)y when a task may not produce the required result for LIN SCAN’s final product

Follow LIN SCAN’s Process Flow Charts and interact with other departments when required

Assure timely and accurate reporting to LIN SCAN

Identify training requirements

Key Responsibilities & Authorities

Defining Policies & Strategies for Quality Management that are reported to the Top Management

Defining competencies for Quality Department team members

Overseeing the performance of all aspects pertaining to Quality in Corporate Office and at site

Deciding on Quality staff recruitment based on required competencies

Promoting the competency development of personnel in the scope of Quality

Approving procedures for the company manually & IT ERP

  • Setting standards for quality as well as health and safety;
  • Designing and implementing all activities pertaining to Quality

    Recommending to Top Management the resources budgets (assets including people) for the Department

    Training Quality personnel in process areas including internal auditors (including HSE)

    Approving all documents and records pertaining to Quality as well as the outputs of Quality Team

    Implementing all applicable standards in LIN SCAN

    Deciding on Non-conformities in the CAR

    Format & approval the effectiveness of the actions taken against the non-conformities

    Identifying new concepts in Quality & implementing the suitable ones

    Evaluating performance of the Process, Product & Quality Team members

    Monitoring the performance of internal auditors

    Qualifying the Internal Auditors of Systems of the company

    Conducting all types of Quality audits within LIN SCAN

    Approving all Quality Plans

    Execute all other tasks as requested by the Executive Team within the assigned job role.

    Administrative Management : Continuously manages administrative functions to ensure quality and timeliness, manages accurate and timely sales activity and performance reports, analyses report data to project trends and build forecasts.

    Skills / Experience :

    Minimum 5 years of work experience in managerial position, and worked in medium-size multinational organization (between 200 to 500 people).

    Experience in QM in companies that have non-standard production / assembly lines and that had to be very flexible in meeting all clients requirements

    Background in Engineering Mechanical or Electronics, QM certificates

    With some international exposure

    Accountability

    Develop Quality standards and procedures for LIN SCAN

    Adopt and provide feedback on best practices across LIN SCAN teams

    Collaborate with team members to identify innovative ways to improve practices and procedures

    Develop junior team members on technology and processes
