Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for financialstrategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports,company audits, compliance, and bank relationships.

They willcollaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisionsregarding company’s financial strategy and operations.

The candidate will possess a strong background in finance andmanagement.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Manage the processes for financial forecasting andbudgets, and oversee the preparation of all financialreporting.
  • Develop organization prospects bystudying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projectingacquisition and expansion prospects;
  • analysing organizationoperations; identifying opportunities for improvement, costreduction, and systems enhancement; and accumulating capital tofund expansion.

  • Monitors financial performanceby measuring and analysing results, initiating corrective actions,and minimizing the impact of variances.
  • Provide leadership, direction and management of thefinance and accounting team in the Group.
  • Responsible for managing the financial activities of theGroup and adhering to generally accepted accounting principlesestablished by UAE government and other regulatoryentities.
  • Provide strategic recommendations toDeputy Chairman and top management team.
  • Advise the top management on long-term business andfinancial planning.
  • Assess financial risks& opportunities and help set / track financial goals,objectives, and budgets.
  • Reports financialstatus by developing forecasts, reporting results, analyzingvariances, and developing improvements.
  • Managecash effectively and efficiently.
  • Skills Required :

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience asChief Financial Officer in UAE or a similar field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance orEconomics from an accredited college or university or any otherrelevant field.
  • Strong financial andaccounting background, including an understanding of profit andloss, budget and cash flow management.
  • Excellent analytical and researching skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to take good decisions based on judgment isabsolutely essential.
  • Should be able tofunction without supervision and should be able to dealappropriately with the confidential information.
  • Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workloadeffectively.
  • Up to date with all UAEapplicable laws, systems and processes.
