Typical Experience / Qualifications : Must be aChartered Accountant / Certified Internal Auditor / BachelorsDegree in Accounting and Finance / Engineer with relevantAccounting and Finance competencies Prior experience of 3 5 yearsin internal audit.

Experience with the Big 4 would be an addedadvantage Job Core Technical Skills : The key responsibilities ofthe role are : Conduct field work in accordance with audit programsand test plans.

Conduct independent reviews and evaluations ofmanagement operations and activities including the systems ofinternal controls Interview process owners to gain an understandingof the area being audited.

Inspect original documents to gathercorroborating evidence. Review and supervise the work of yourteams. Prepare reports on findings and recommend improvements inpolicies, procedures and internal controls.

Provide qualityassurance inputs in the reports and recommendations.Conceptualization and preparation of presentations to Board / AuditCommittees Take responsibility for all aspects of the projectsdeployed at including planning, execution and delivery.

  • Assist inbusiness development by participating in proposal managementactivity. Preparation and Continuous update of Internal AuditPrograms and RACMs : in line with engagement objectives Drafting ofObservations and Summary Sheets Preparation and Maintenance ofEngagement File Completion of Risk Management Mandates : AscertainKnowledge of Firms Risk Management procedures by ensuringcompletion and documentation of the following in the audit fileCost Control Monitoring : Monitoring of WIP;
  • NFR vs. Budget RelevantAdvisory Skills and Behaviours Proficiency in KPMG Internal AuditMethodology Knowledge of ERM, Corporate Governance Standards andother advisory services.

    Advanced knowledge of the product,Industry and business function for which work is assigned. Goodanalytical skills, organizational ability and judgment required.

    Strong time management skills Strong report writing skills ResourceManagement - Ability to Manage Associates and provide guidanceduring field work.

    Proficiency in MS Office Ability to developstrong client relationships and deliver quality to clients. Astrong team player but able to work on own initiative Ability todeliver work within tight timescales, to budget and to a highquality Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orallyand in writing, including the ability to interview persons toextract information of a sensitive nature.

    Ability to gather,analyse, and evaluate facts and to prepare and present concise oraland written reports. Ability to gain the confidence and respect ofmanagement and staff through attributes such as professionalism andpositive attitude.

    Demonstrate willingness to support the growth ofthe practice and self. Presentation skills - Preparation andparticipation in Audit CommitteePresentations.
