Provides a high quality medicalcare to patients particularly in the area of otolaryngology, Head& Neck as inpatient and outpatient and operativesurgery.
Operate in the OR within his approvedprivileges.
Physically present in the OR toassess and supervise his assistant to conduct surgery when hisassistant has no approved privileges to carry out the procedureunder the category of Solo in the privilege form.
Expect to be present in the working vicinity duringnormal working hours.
To be available forcontact at any time while in town.
Performsadministrative duties as assigned and other duties asneeded.
Provides consultative service asrequested.
Participates in thedepartment's educational activities, training programs anddivision meetings.
Participates in researchactivities.
Shares on-call schedule for theDivision of ENT, and communication sciences as needed.
Elicits and records information about patient'smedical history.
Determines nature and extent ofdisorder.
Prescribes and administersmedications, or performs surgery.
Performstests to determine extent of loss of hearing due to aural or otherinjury.
Performs to determine extent of speechloss as result of diseases or injuries to larynx.
Follows all hospital related policies andprocedures.
