Our client, a fast growing medical facilityin Abu Dhabi is urgently lookingfor Surgical / Operating TheatreNurses . In this role, you will have the followingresponsibilities :
Prepare pre-surgical procedures for thepatient
Meet with patientâ srelatives as required regarding the procedures to be performed onthe patient
Assist Doctor in explaining theprocedure to the patient before starting it, as and whenrequired
Inform patients about estimatedrecovery time
Sterilize surgical tools beforeand after the procedure
Set up the toolsrequired for the surgical procedure before it begins
Make all necessary preparation in the operating roombefore the surgical procedure begins
Assistother surgical team members in putting on their gears, like masks,gloves and sterile gowns, as needed
Prepareand also properly clean the site where incision is to be made onthe patient
Stick up and bandage incisions andwounds
Convey the patient to the recovery roomafter the surgical procedure
Monitor thepatient in the recovery room till he / she wakes up fromanesthesia
Care continuously for the patienttill he / she gets discharged or transferred to otherunits
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet thefollowing criteria :
Must be a degree holder in nursing
With valid license from home country
With valid BLS license
Eligible towork in Abu Dhabi; having HAAD / DHA or other license may beconsidered as long it can be transferred to DOH / HAAD
Preferably candidates must have at least 2years of experience in doing aesthetic surgicalprocedures
Willing to work in AbuDhabi
willing to work for 48 hours in one week(Operational hours of the center is from 9AM to 9PM with 2 shiftschedules)
Due to the current situation, only candidates who arebased in the UAE will be considered.
