RealNetworks Middle East FZ-LLC seeks a seasoned Sales / Solutions Engineer for SAFR ™ (Secure, Accurate Facial Recognition), a highly accurate, AI-based facial recognition platform architected to economically scale at high performance with rapid processing to detect and match millions of faces in real time.
In view of SAFR’s unique market position and the outstanding potential of growth, RealNetworks is now seeking a customer-driven, individual contributor / function owner to provide written system design and consultancy services as well as technical support to our customers seeking to deploy SAFR.
The Engineer will apply an extensive systems engineering background, understanding of Machine Learning (ML) and solid grasp of AI analytics, surveillance and access control systems, and related technologies to provide customer-facing, pre and post sales services including advisory, installation, configuration, customization and support.
This role provides a unique opportunity to grow a function as our product becomes widely adopted in diverse markets.
This Engineer will :
Lead technical presentations, training, and performance evaluation by successfully describing our complex product to an experienced, sophisticated engineering audience as well as technology novices;
Deliver detailed feedback on customer needs and requirements to SAFR’s product management and engineering teams, always acting as the aggressive internal customer advocate;
Provide technical expertise to external customers and internal sales in areas related product feasibility analysis, resource allocation, cost-benefit analysis and recommendations on equipment / hardware for the customer environment;
Configure and deploy SAFR applications for customer POC deployments to meet customer requirements;
Write shell or batch scripts or scripting languages to perform tasks such as triggering relays, calling external SMS service to send text message;
Identify short-term and long-range issues and recommend solutions;
Be the expert on the competitive technology landscape
Success in this role requires :
A Bachelor’s degree in a technology or engineering-related field or the equivalent
7+ years’ experience as a systems engineer
Experience as a Sales Engineer experience (or equivalent field experience) working for a world class software or systems company selling cutting-edge technology products
Experience with Python
Experience in scripting languages such as Bash, Java, C# and / or DOS;
Experience working with REST APIs;
Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems;
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (knowledge of SQL query language is a plus);
Excellent written and verbal communication and technology presentation skills
