Job Description

Key accountabilities :

Develop and maintain the IT strategy for the bank including managing development projects to refresh or renew all IT systems

Design and maintain internal IT security framework and ongoing monitoring of IT Security

Design and development of the bank’s information security policy

Development and monitoring of channel security threats

Monitor market developments on IT security providing recommendations to business on new initiatives

Ensure contingency and Disaster Recovery for all systems

Review weekly incidents and ensure that all incidents are progressed through with Root Cause Analysis and to ensure that robust procedures are in place to manage deployment, code fixing and troubleshooting

Direct the development and agreement to the annual plan for IT Department and associated budget based on investment requirements

Define strategy for Technology Department in line with overall strategy and objectives of the organization to ensure that the bank has best practice IT solutions and infrastructure in operation

Plan and establish basic organization structure and key work processes for the Technology Department Requirements :

Master’s degree in computer sciences and 10 years IT experience

UAE National family book holder

Exceptional knowledge of computer systems, applications and operating system

Strong Communication Skills and able to think out of the box

In depth experience of negotiating with and managing third parties
