MEP Manager - Major Exhibition Programme
Reporting to the project director, responsible for the management of MEP contractors involved in this major mixed-use scheme from delivery on site to commissioning and handover.
Part of the senior management team in a client facing, project management consultancy role.
Your responsibilities will include :
Reviewing overall status of the MEP works reporting on the progress of all MEP aspects of the project to the project director, design and commercial team.
Overseeing that the highest standards of health and safety are considered as a priority through all stages of the project.
Managing the drive, quality, cost and schedule of the MEP works.
Monitoring progress against the project schedule.
Supervising the delivery on site and the management of an international construction supervision team and the main MEP contractors.
Reviewing and reporting on project status with the project management team and recommending corrective actions where needed.
Challenging and seeking to improve the project deliverables.
Driving the innovation and better ways of working.
Initiating and driving value management and value engineering as required.
It is essential that you can demonstrate a clear, systematic approach to solving complex technical and aesthetic issues and are able to communicate solutions in an effective, high level manner.
Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include :
With 8 years’ post-graduate experience is essential for client approval.
Dubai project experience is essential for client approval.
MEP on site project management skills are essential.
Major project experience is essential.
A main contracting, management contracting, construction management, project management or engineering background are all acceptable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A degree qualification is essential for client approval.
Professional memberships are preferred.
