Job Title : Advisor, Well Integrity (Onshore)
Ensure all ADNOC Upstream group companies and SPC companies comply with ADNOC standards in managing the integrity of their wells throughout their life cycle, in order to operate wells safely and meet production and cost targets.
Provide support in following ADNOC Well Integrity COP guidelines and related standards, monitoring performance and driving continual improvement.
Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)
Provide Well Integrity support and expertise to all activities defined in the Operational Excellence business plan.
Take ownership of the ADNOC Code of Practice for Well Integrity, and manage all activities related to rolling out and ensuring compliance with it.
Manage Well Integrity committees as directed as part of the Operational Excellence business plan.
Carry out studies addressing specific well integrity problems as assigned from time to time and prepare appropriate recommendations / action plans for immediate solution of such integrity problems.
Support audits and reviews in the technical areas of well integrity for all ADNOC Upstream Companies to ensure conformance with ADNOC standards.
Drive new technology initiatives for cost effective long solutions for well integrity in the ADNOC upstream companies and SPC companies.
Provide advice and support in the Research & Technology Development and Digitalization Schemes within the well integrity areas.
Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities related to assigned Well Integrity committees and sub-committees.
Support all ADNOC Upstream Operating Companies with standardization of best practices, technical guidelines, policies, systems of work, work processes, procedures and digital tools, as related to assigned OE areas of responsibility.
Review and enhance periodically Well Integrity Guidelines and communicate to all business units.
Coordinate with Drilling Teams to ensure ADNOC Drilling COP is aligned and in compliance with our Well Integrity Standards.
Support all ADNOC Upstream Operating Companies with specification, standardization, monitoring and reporting of Well Integrity performance metrics
Enable enhancement of well integrity knowledge related sharing and experience transfer among ADNOC Group Companies.
Conduct compliance audits of Well Integrity Management System (WIMS) for all Upstream Assets.
Identify sub-standard practices & performance, advise appropriate action plans to mitigate the well integrity risk and ensure their implementation.
Support assigned OE committees to identify improvement opportunities and translate them into resourced action plans.
Encourage and motivate the ADNOC Group Companies to explore new technologies that help mitigate the sub-standard conditions of problematic wells.
Explore new technologies to enhance well integrity monitoring and repair unsafe conditions, whilst optimizing resources.
Conduct events, meetings, workshops, conferences etc as requested with all Upstream Assets to solve specific topics regarding well integrity concerns.
Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 2)
Report through the OE governance structure the performance, status and issues related to assigned OE areas of responsibility.
Support ADNOC Upstream Operating Companies with designing reporting structures and systems to keep Company Management fully appraised of performance, status and issues within assigned OE areas of responsibility

Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.
Provide input for preparation of the Function / Division / Department / Section budgets, assist in the implementation of the approved Budget, and work plans to deliver objectives.
Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
Implement approved Function / Division / Department / Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the work programs in line with Company and International standards.
Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Function / Division / Department / Section in line with the Company Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation, and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
Provide inputs to prepare Function / Division / Department / Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

Regular contact with Well Integrity leaders and specialists in Upstream Operating Companies
Manage a close interface with Corporate HSE department in all matters related to Well Integrity, safe systems of work and HSE management systems.

Maintain contact with ADNOC JV partners in all matters relating to Well Integrity
Maintain contact with agreed partner vendors related to Well Integrity digital technology
Bachelor's Degree Petroleum Engineering or related engineering discipline.
Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Minimum 12 years of experience in a Wells or Drilling related role.
Experience working within an Oil & Gas International Operator.
Broad experience in : well construction, completions design, well operations, workover, slick wireline operations, logging, CTU operations, fishing, annulus management, corrosion & scale management and control, cement / casing integrity assessment, leak detection surveys & evaluation, artificial lift system etc.
with experience in onshore and offshore operations.
Proven ability to collaborate across different functions.
Superior quantitative and analytical skills.
Proven ability to support and influence change.
Must demonstrate strategic thinking.
Ability to write business reports and executive summaries for Senior Management approvals.
Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing and evolving work environment is necessary.
Membership of a recognized professional institute.
Work Condition, Physical effort & Work Environment
Regular office work and occasional Oil and Gas field visit.
Normally air-conditioned office environment, but could be exposed to prevailing weather conditions including, heat, dust and humidity while visiting outside locations or sites
