A renowned international 5* resort in Zanzibar is looking for an Italian Sous Chef urgently.
Italian Sous Chef is fully in charge of the all day dining buffet restaurant with international concept.
We would expect that Italian Sous Chef is fully able to control costs in the restaurant, make requisitions and administrative work as needed, manage the team of Chefs and Stewards, control the menu and suggest new items, train team to ensure high standard of cooking.
Reporting line is Executive Chef.
We offer $1500 net for this position + expatriate benefits (single accommodation, full board, insurance, ticket home once a year).
Candidate should be Italian but with at least conversational English, single status. Experience abroad and in the hotel / resort environment is a plus.
