DESCRIPTION Job summary
Based in Dubai, this role will support MENA (Middle East and Northern Africa) within the greater Emerging Countries Customer Fulfillment Leadership (ECCF) team of nine countries.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to leading needs analysis, collaborating with product owners, and working with instructional designers and subject matter experts to develop or modify programs that impact our ECCF leaders.
Building strong working relationships with peers and key stakeholder groups, this Senior Manager will continually dive deep to understand the learning needs, using data and insights into the business to build or adapt learning methods, materials or technology that will support the leaders.
You are the key leader to define vision, strategy, and execution of all interventions that enlighten, educate, and inspire the worlds most talented employees.

Key job responsibilities
Build the vision and the team to drive the end-to-end learning experience for leaders, associates, and drivers with MENA (specifically UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt)
Drive standardization of training processes to ensure high quality new hires and continuous education programs are in place
Inspect current processes to consider how best to accomplish this task and how Amazonians will interact with the process.
Your team will define what we can expect when we execute processes as designed and measure our progress towards success
Empower the business with simple, repeatable programs and processes that can be implemented, consistently executed, and measured.
Your team will identify execution outliers, understand what they do to be the benchmark, and share those best practices to improve organizational results
Test hypotheses in a high-ambiguity environment making use of qualitative data, judgment, and customer feedback to inform technical efforts and refine solutions to continually improve results
Collaborate with adult learning and content experts as well as stakeholders using problem solving and analytical skills in identifying and assessing talent development needs to inform multi-channel content strategy
Integrate and embed Diversity, Equity and Inclusion throughout the design, management, and implementation
Local and international travel will be required in the role
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS .. Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification (advanced degree preferred)
Bi Lingual English required and Arabic preferred
Extensive experience in recruiting, leading, and developing cross-functional teams responsible for data-based, process-focused solutions for business operations
Proven achievements developing and managing a long-term vision and execution of a portfolio of people development initiatives, learning solutions, process engineering, and / or operations management
Demonstrated ability to define, influence, refine, and implement processes, procedures and policies
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, evaluate outcomes and challenge conventional wisdom
Experience in or demonstrated ability to influence with or without formal authority.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Advanced degree in related area preferred
Knowledge of instructional theories : adult learning, on the job learning, knowledge management theories, principles in both virtual and classroom instruction
Experience using technology for both learning design, delivery and data analysis
Experience with mobile training, gamification and social learning is highly preferred
Practical program management and administration experience : organization, managing details, keeping multiple tasks / projects on track, and managing change
A strong focus on internal customers needs and satisfaction, with an emphasis in demonstrating return on investment in training
