Health Economics & Market Access (HEMA) is a critical element of our market access strategies to ensure success in an increasingly challenging market environment.
New regulations, a decision-making process where the clinician is no longer the only player, and a concept of value which is more and more based on evidence coming from clinical studies and derived economic value from our technologies and solutions, makes it a must that we equip ourselves with the required capabilities and convey a meaningful value-
based message to our customers. Within this context, the purpose of this role is to be the HEMA Manager for the Middle East, partnering closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs and Strategic Operations to deliver strong substantiated value messages.

Duties & Responsibilities :
Strong collaboration with marketing and sales to implement measurable value solutions which optimally fit specific customer needs
Mentor, training and participation in the development of evidence-based value selling skills of sales field staff
Planning, coordination and implementation of surgical product & procedure solution related health services research and outcome-based agreements
Development of close relationships with clinical users and non-clinical stakeholder at the key public and private institutions in the region
Ability to critically review the economic & clinical evidence and to convincingly communicate and demonstrate the customer specific value of our innovative medical solution to clinical and non-clinical clients
Deliver relevant and timely input to the regional business strategies in the Middle East and ensure insights from the region get passed on for considerations into global strategies
Science or business administration degree with at least 2 years’ experience within health economics and market access (preferably from the region)
Typical background includes medical devices, pharmaceutical industry, healthcare sector, consultancy, and government service
Sound experience in the setup & evaluation of health-economic studies and methods in a clinical setting including data generation and analysis
Sound experience in identifying and applying localized data to health economic models (e.g. budget impact models)
Motivation to develop innovative study concepts and business models in all phases of the market access process of a broad product portfolio in a "High Performance" team at national & international level
Strong self-motivation and communication skills as well as goal, success and service oriented networker with the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial work environment, and a drive to work collaboratively with other divisions of the company to leverage internal expertise
Very good project management and presentation skills
Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus but not a requirement)
Willingness to travel regionally
