Manage the 3C Material / Equipment Storage Area, aligned with McDermott QHSES
Be familiar with piping, mechanical, electrical / instrument and structural project material types.
Main HUC Yard point of contact for all Project Construction Mgmt & Snr Materials.
Management of all 3C / HUC Yard Containerization, including ordering, branding & coding
Prepare and maintain complete master log of tools, HV catalogue, equipment, consumables
Co-ordinate material and transportation as per details provided by 3C Engineers / Superintendents
Ensure campaign requisitions & requirements are managed effectively (Both inputs & outputs) from receipt to shipping
Provide effective interface & communication links between McDermott internal departments, offsite teams and offshore teams.
Ensure completion of Service Work Order (re Country of Origin checking) and Cargo Data Entry for transportation of material.
Ensure accurate and complete Outbound and Inbound cargo manifest information to include but not be limited to vendor delivery notes, certification, photos of items, Safety Data Sheets / Dangerous Goods documentation (if applicable).
Ensure accurate and complete internal transfer records of material / equipment / tooling / consumables within the HUC Yard Area.
Reconcile all material, tooling, equipment on project completion to include return to stock, material scrapping, waste disposal, equipment off-
hire and close out of internal transfers.
Ensure HUC Yard material checks are regularly scheduled highlighting to function team any potential delivery issues and stock levels are maintained
Ensure accurate, live and complete rental files are maintained and equipment off-hired status is communicated at the soonest opportunity based on instruction.
Ensure accurate, live and complete Additional Material Request, Service Work Order and certification registers are maintained.
Liaise closely with relevant Project interfaces ensuring material requirements are fully understood and acted upon
Provide continuous improvements solutions to 3C Functional Management on yard space utilization & subsequent material, plant & equipment management
Provide strategy on business cost reduction on material management, streamline process
Support 3C Functional Department, best practice initiatives and procedural governance of processes.
Minimum high school diploma required. College degree preferred.
8 years experience in a similar role.

Ensure accurate and rational reports are provided for project execution schedules & claims that reflect optimum and realistic data.

Know and monitor budgets directly associated with line of responsibility and escalate to Line Manager / Cost Control Team if changes occur.

Provide clear, accurate, relevant reports status updates aligned to project position.
