Document Controller - Major ExhibitionProgramme
Workingwithin a key team in our programme and project management joint venture,responsible for supporting a major infrastructure project in the management ofall documents with consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
We aim tohave a high standard document control system on this major programme,therefore, the knowledge and experience of the document control staff will bemore technical rather than purely administrative.
Your responsibilities will include :
Conversantwith all process and procedures for the programme and projects and theirimplementation on the relevant systems.
Managing dayto day administration of the system and liaises with the EDMS to resolvesproblems to improve the effective running of the system.
Supervisingthe performance of individual members of the document control team on a projectby project basis, ensuring the efficient delivery of project requirements.
Performingdocument controller’s duties when others are on leave.
Providingsupport in delivering training on procedures and document protocols internally,to the client teams and supply chain.
Assistingthe team’s adherence to the processes and procedures and provides guidance whendeviation occurs.
Performing acomprehensive quality check on each document and associated documents, inaccordance with the programme defined documents protocols.
Performingperiodic quality checks to the system registers.
Supportingthe team on routine and ad hoc project-wide assignments.
Producingquantitative, status and analysis reports.
Your experience, knowledge and skillsneed to include :
Minimum 5years’ experience in a document control function.
Experienceof SharePoint and BIW or other on-line collaboration tools.
Experienceof supporting programme / project focused teams in property or constructionenvironments.
Goodknowledge of MS Office packages especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Knowledge inAconex is essential - advanced level is an advantage.
Strongdocument organisational skills.
Strongwritten and verbal communication skill is required.
Ability tomanage multiple and changing priorities in a high volume environment.
High levelof accuracy and attention to detail.
Expertise intechnical data management.
A degreequalification is essential for client approval.
Professionalmemberships are an advantage but are not essential.
