This is a Graphic Designer position for a sanitary ware company who is a specialist in manufacturing and distributing high end or luxury bathroom accessories .
The ideal candidate will posses the following skills and will be accountable for the following :
SCOPE AND IMPACT OF POSITION ON THE ORGANIZATION :
To host and assist / address the end consumers’ / DBC Visitors bathroom needs / requirements by providing interior design solutions.
To handle the flow of customers and visitors through the Design Bathroom Center and ensure that all responsibilities are completed accurately, professionally and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
To provide support to the Design Bathroom Center Manager in hosting the customers and in providing materials based on the customers’ requirements;
Have a very good knowledge of the products in order to be able to direct the clients closer to their needs by providing different solutions.
To provide 3D visuals when needed for end customers and projects when required
To provide AutoCAD drawings when needed for end customers and projects when required
To create 3D visuals for Virtual Reality for small and big projects when required
To produce HR quality brochures / presentations for small and big projects when required
To assist the reception area in customers’ registration when occupied or on leave.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Interior design & customers’ service :
Discuss requirements and translate the end consumers’ needs into solutions, with an interior design aspect.
Develop design concepts of bathroom solutions on floor plan, often using computer aided design (CAD) software, when required, under the supervision of the DBC Manager.
Advise customers on interior design aspects, such as space planning, layout and utilization of products, and color coordination.
Maintain product literature files to ensure the most current and accurate information is always provided to visitors.
Create database library with visuals of all the projects that have been handled
Keep database of all projects handled with updates of project progress
Create visuals for quoted projects to help customers visualize the bathroom design
Create visuals and floor plan layouts and work with the DBC Manager for the DBC renovations
Update the DBC Manager for new market trends
Provide feedback to the Design Bathroom Center Manager with regards to the needs, suggestions, feedback from the guests of the Center.
Coordinate with distributors for the needs of the guests regarding availability of products
Assist in reports of products that need to be ordered and provide reason of change according to the Design Bathroom Center Manager directions.
Assist when required the Design Center Manager with the organization of events, launch of products and promotions of the Center.
Assist the Design Center Manager with various projects or duties as and when required.
Schedule customers’ appointments in coordination with DBC Manager.
Maintain appointment diary either manually and electronically.
Receive deliveries of products and marketing material when required.
Provide general administrative work when required.

Education and / or Experience
Interior Designer degree or equivalent
Minimum 2+ year experience in interior design
A high level of technical knowledge, including CAD and model-making skills;
Project management skills, including the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines;
Awareness of building and safety regulations
Knowledge of the wider construction and design industries
Good knowledge of BIM
Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
The ability to communicate in effective Arabic & English language; verbal and written communication skills.
