Role Purpose :
As the Manager, Product & Events Marketing, you will be responsible for supporting the Director of Marketing in team operations and delivery of strategy.
Our clients main aim is to grow the brand awareness and positioning. This will be achieved through various marketing activities, including cross channel, integrated campaign planning and delivery, for existing a new tourism product, event marketing, creative management and delivery.
Therefore, our client is looking for a self-starter with solid proven digital marketing a strong product or hospitality marketing background, excellent targeted media experience with team management skills.
Responsibilities : Product Marketing :
Product Marketing :
Implement the marketing strategy for the Authority in line with objectives, positioning intent and overall targets and outlined measures for each product and experience offering
Work with other departments and partner agencies to deliver integrated campaigns and content for products and events, building awareness and presence in relevant territories and media channels among key targets, and converting engagement or sales
Work with tourism development and product development team to ensure all marketing deliverables are on strategy and working effectively
Roll out campaigns across all channels including social media to ensure cohesive online strategy and digital presence.
Analysing and activating potential strategic partner relationships for product and event marketing and co-marketing
Coordinating content creation and ensure distribution within the relevant channels
Maintain effective internal communication to ensure that all relevant Authority functions are involved and kept informed of marketing objectives for destination, product and other owned brands
Strategic thinking & Planning :
Work closely with the department head and give support in creating campaign plans to drive overall results, deliver product positioning and engagement through communications, growth in core KPIs and strong ROI in all product and event communications for consumer and trade
Use research to outline campaign impact and to deliver improvements in product and event go-to-market approaches
Utilise insights from key competitive set and benchmarking research to develop the product and event brands
Translate and deliver on marketing plans, strategies and projects to position the emirate as a key tourist destination in line with business objectives
Digital Marketing :
Develop a digital and social marketing strategy in line with Authority objectives, commercial strategy, positioning and create measurable performance indicators
Planning digital marketing campaigns, including website, SEO / SEM, email, social media and display advertising in line with campaign needs and required deliverables
Creation and publication of all digital marketing material in line with marketing plans to raise brand awareness and drive online traffic to relevant brand websites driving conversion
Measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, revising and assessing against goals and performance indicators to improve delivery
Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimise user experience constantly improving the usability, design, content and conversion of the relevant product and event micro / websites and digital assets
Identify trends and insights to optimise spend, performance and targeting
Team and Partner Management :
Manage the core marketing team in delivering and executing the structured marketing plan against clear targets
Motivate and inspire the marketing team in order to deliver integrated and innovative / creative marketing and communication ideas
Management of internal and external partners and media stakeholders to deliver on strategy, effectively and within scope and budget.
Build relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders, to facilitate the delivery needs of the team
Financial Planning and Budget Management :
Support the Department Head in the creation and management of the department budget
Work with other internal departments to highlight solutions to improve, increase and drive efficiency
Support in the development and implementation of policies and procedures in order to ensure that fit-for-purpose processes and strong internal control mechanisms are in place and utilised.
Effectively manage departmental expenditure to enable higher levels of effectiveness and operational efficiency with partners
