Due to an internal promotion, we have a vacancy in our Abu Dhabi office for a Regional Sales Manager for the Flow Control Valve portfolio of products.

This role will have overall responsibility of sales in Central Region ( UAE and Oman ), meeting sales and market share growth targets and managing customers and channels.

Products include Multiport valves, Digital Isolation valves (including HIPPS & ESD valves) along with support in the region for Fisher FIELDVUE solutions.

You will be required also to drive spare parts and services related to these products and solutions.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Driving sales volumes in the entire Central Region territory for the Multiport and Digital Isolation Business
  • Manage the performance of Multiport, HIPPS and Digital Isolation product lines in UAE and Oman by analyzing market trends, identifying market potential, interpreting performance, conducting sales channel reviews, managing bookings forecasting, identifying and implementing improvement opportunities
  • Support the Central Region sales team with FIELDVUE support, conducting presentations, site visits and developing the required specs for feed projects
  • Drive the MRO, Parts, Service and Education business throughout the territory, acting as trusted advisor offering solutions to customer problems
  • Analyze and develop plans with the Channel Sales force to drive competitive displacement with FIELDVUE solutions
  • Drive key account planning and ensuring project pursuit activities are properly implemented and performed
  • Oversee Long Term Service Agreements in the region
  • Monthly reporting on orders booked, sales forecasts, main projects and important customer meetings
  • Work with the Flow Controls group to manage the distribution presence in UAE and Oman. Identify, highlight and manage potential distribution / channel issues
  • Explore new applications and industry segments to identify new business opportunities
  • Lead internal training, and commercial / technical support to the sales channel
  • Liaison with Project Pursuit, Strategic Accounts and Site Teams to identify, and pursue opportunities
  • Identify and drive participation in exhibitions, Technical Fairs, Technical Presentations etc. for enhanced visibility of the Company and brand building
  • Keep up-to-date with developments and trends in products, industries and market conditions
  • Recognize and accept HSE Roles & Responsibilities as defined in Emerson's Company Policy and Procedures, adhere to Emerson's trade compliance policies and Ethics code of conduct
  • In order to be considered for this role you will have a proven track record of sales of Valves within the Oil & Gas industry in the GCC .

    You will come from a technical background, holding an Engineering degree (Mechanical or Instrumentation), an understanding of upstream processes -

    specifically flow control techniques.

    You will have experience in accurate budgeting, forecasting and delivering on the same with confidence. Your written and verbal English communication skills will be excellent, along with customer focus and leadership orientation.

    You will be required to have an Abu Dhabi visa for this role, and travel across the UAE and Oman for up to 40% of your time.
