This post reports to Director Quality & Safety Assurance
To enforce compliance with GCAA Regulations, ensure the airworthiness of our aircraft and monitor the standards of all Maintenance & Engineering personnel.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives within Maintenance & Engineering through relevant training programs and the development of a robust Quality Management System.
Duties and Responsibilities
Respond in a timely fashion to audit findings from the GCAA or other external agencies.
Following up all audits and, based on findings, make recommendation for corrective / preventative actions and / or procedural changes
Ensure all maintenance is carried out in a timely manner ensuring all discrepancies are rectified and records maintained i.
a.w. Royal Jet Policy & Procedures.
Control of Authorization Stamps and the maintenance and update of M & E personnel training files.
Formal Education Required
An appropriate Engineering degree or recognized aerospace qualifications together with a minimum of 10 years in the industry
Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License (ICAO),
Formal training in quality assurance auditing, preferably to Lead Auditor standard
Trained on All Jet aircraft Operated by Royal Jet
Excellent knowledge of GCAA, EASA, FAA general rules and regulations.
Experience within a functional maintenance organization
High standard of English language
Excellent ability to prioritize quality & safety cases
Excellent analytical, communication and writing skills
Computer literate in MS office application
Years & Field of Experience required :
5 years’ experience as approved Lead Aircraft Engineer or 5 years’ experience as Quality Assurance Manager / Engineer
