An exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager has become available in our Dubai team. The individual will be responsible for leading consultative sales engagements interacting with a variety of different consumer brands.

What you will be doing :

Lead consultative sales engagements, interacting with the CXO level of major consumer facing brands

Support with the end-to end sales process from target selection and initial pitch to negotiating and closing the deal

Responsible for delivering significant growth targets

Help develop new commercial business models to grow our white label Insights and Loyalty Solutions business

You will be developing new business opportunities for Aimia across the Middle East, including both developing new partnerships for the Air Miles coalition programme as well as developing opportunities with prospects who want to run their own loyalty programmes through our white label loyalty platform and services business

You’ll be responsible for achieving our revenue targets from new clients

You will help to develop loyalty solutions for our new clients based on their business objectives and challenges and be part of the team as we sell new models and solutions to our partners

You’ll work as part of a close-knit business development team providing a great service to our customers as well as knowledge sharing across our business ensuring we operate as one team

You’ll work as part of Aimia’s broader business global development community to implement a co-ordinated and consistent approach to sales and ensure we work effectively together to deliver new business solutions for clients

You’ll be thinking, creating, interacting, organising and implementing all the time.

You’ll endeavour to fully understand client requests and the underlying needs and then articulate these to wider stakeholders including the Solutions team

You’ll account manage any opportunity to ensure requests and deliverables meet timelines and client expectations

You’ll prepare, where necessary, client sales material including RFI / RFP responses, sales presentations, pricing approaches

You’ll ensure a mutually beneficial solution is developed for both the client and Aimia by working closely with the solutions, finance and legal teams

You’ll develop relevant and appropriate economic / loyalty models with finance / strategy to ensure that programmes work for all parties

You’ll support in the development of client pricing, ensuring all stakeholders have provided cost estimates based on defined assumptions and that you have a clear line of sight between the cost and the underlying drivers of the cost

Commerce / on-line marketing practices.

Strong loyalty experience across a diverse customer base, ideally across different countries, cultures and verticals, with experience working in a business development environment.

Passionate about long term customer relationships with a strong customer centric focus

A persuasive, collaborative engaging style

Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills

A well-organised, process orientated and positive approach

Innovative thinking, pragmatism and a passion for solving problems

Familiarity with building financial models (e.g. ROI, forecast models) and structuring and writing presentations
