The jobholder will be required to manage the sales function within Commercial Products Dubai Dubai Stop Over division (DSO).
The focus of the role will be to create new and nurture existing business opportunities by dealing with global partners (DMC’s, travel agents, tour operators, etc.
and Emirates direct channels (call centre, town offices, airport operations, Skywards, etc. ). The Dubai Stop over program, which is an integral part of the Airline offering to its passengers and key to the expected growth of Dubai’s tourism.
The product sets EK apart from its competitors and highlights Dubai as the ultimate stopover destination by offering exclusive products and experiences.
Benchmark retail offices against other similar business activities and make recommendation for enhancing and growing the DSO business.
Qualifications : Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) Experience : 8+ years experience of selling within the travel industry with experience of working in a team leader / management role Knowledge / skills : Proven and consistent track record of excellent sales and customer service Ability to inspire, motivate, engage and develop a team Passionate about the region they are working within along with a strong appreciation of the culture Experience in travel, hospitality and leisure industries.
