You as a HUB PG Capacitors & Filters Marketing & Sales Manager MENA will be a part of the Power Grids division which delivers products, systems, service and software solutions as part of its comprehensive power & automation offering for the grid across the power value chain -

serving utility, industry, transportation and infrastructure customers.As a HUB PG Capacitors & Filters Marketing & Sales Manager MENA you will be accountable for executing the strategic growth plan (marketing and sales) in the region, ensuring that the Capacitors and Filters unit substantially increases sales, margins, market share and customer satisfaction.

Proactively lead, develop and coach the sales organization in the respective countries to exceed the sales growth targets through high performance.

Conduct marketing activities and market analyses using all available marketing tools for existing and potential products for assigned markets.

Tasks :

  • Plans and executes PG marketing & sales strategic initiatives in the territory to ensure orders growth. Takes lead and ownership of all special growth initiatives within the territory for Capacitors and Filters.
  • Works with Global PG M&S, HUB BU M&S, and local Units to establish key sales & marketing and operational targets (volume, prices, portfolio and channel mix, internal inventories, revenues, SG&A, etc.
  • and establishes appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance. Proactively anticipates and identifies shortfalls in performance and takes appropriate remedial action. Drives top line growth for.

  • Responsible for achieving assigned order intake, gross margin and related objectives for the entire Capacitors & Filters portfolio in the territory.
  • Evaluation of potential new and existing markets and their needs and ensures proactive sales approach with a focus on solutions to meet customer needs within the territory

  • Oversees the region teams to identify, monitor and maintain / exceed the sales market price levels, evaluating with Product Management and Global PG M&S pricing impact on the results.
  • Drives and supports local Sales organizations to ensure achievement of sales volume and product mix targets.

  • Oversees market, competitive analysis and market segment activities. Collects data and provides sound market and competitive intelligence analyses related to territory markets and trends.
  • Develops relationships with key stakeholders. Plans and implements customer surveys and acts on the results to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Participates and supports the local sales organization in the negotiation of key contracts.

  • Monitors client financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams. Identifies and manages potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers / channels within the territory.
  • Ensures (with HR support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coaches, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
  • Drives and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.

    Requirements :

    Ideally you should have an Engineering degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience within energy sector preferably with knowledge about power quality.

    Knowledge of Middle East & North Africa Utility and Industry requirements is a plus. Results orientation and ability to adapt to changing market conditions to meet business goals.

    Ability to lead and manage regional teams to successful outcome.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral is required with fluency in English and Arabic and / or French is preferred.
