PARSONSis actively seeking a creative, highly talented entry level landscape / urbandesigner for immediate employment in the Dubai Built Environment Studio.
Incollaboration with design studio leadership, the candidate will work closelywith project design teams and project landscape architects, managers anddesigners to design and assist in the execution of projects within the UAE, theMiddle East, and internationally.
Projects in the studio are design-driven andinvolve close collaboration with engineers, planners, cost estimators, andother technical consultants.

planning, andecological restoration.
Theresponsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to :
Determinesaesthetic design and practical technical solutions for the planning of externalspaces including hardscapes, softscapes, Streetscapes etc.
Works would cover urban planning, commercialbuildings and spaces, residential projects, Industrial sites, Public openspaces and parks, Resorts, Hotels and leisure facilities etc.
Proficiency in providing complex technicalsolutions and preparing full technical packages from concept design, throughDesign development, Final Design to Tender and Contract documentation incoordination with Senior Team members.
Constructionpackages would include construction details for all built forms within theexternal works packages to be designed in coordination with the relevantengineers prior to contract documentation.
Hardscapedetailing would include the design and specification all external finishes,level changes, walls, minor structures, drainage, water features etc.
Softscapedetailing would include the design and specification of all plant materials,planting medium, preparation of the site, contours & grading and control ofall horticultural practices for installation works.
TheLandscape Architect would assist with supervising installation of the landscapecontract works on site, and would report on site works, progress, changes etc.
The landscape architect would assist in administration of the contract toensure the works are carried out to the contract specifications and programme.
Preparation, design and presentation of highquality landscape concept drawings.
Preparation of technical design packagesthrough to tender.
Contract administration of projects.
Liaise with juniors and plan, program anddelegate within the team structure.
Coordination with other relevant disciplinessuch as Engineers, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Architects.
Provide high level liaison with Clients andClient’s representatives.
Prepare contracts within budget requirementsand provide accurate costing information to the client or quantity surveyors.
Develop maintenance plans for completedsites.
Maintain affiliations with professionalsocieties to keep abreast of technologies.
