We are actively sourcing for the position of Lead Operations Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This position will report directly to Operations & Training Manager.
Successful candidate will be required to effectively co-ordinate the efficient implementation of Operations Projects assigned to the full satisfaction of both the client and ODL.

Main responsibilities will be :
To provide operational engineering expertise to all projects
To liaise with the Operations & Training Manager on projected personnel resources and any potential shortfalls
To ensure the Operations personnel operate within the agreed company policies and standards
To be responsible for the departments technical and disciplinary leadership
To evaluate and prepare bids / tenders / quotations
To carry out detailed control and monitoring of all assigned operations projects work in progress, ensuring all workscopes are achieved within time and budget
To maintain auditable trail of all correspondence between ODL and Client affecting project work scopes and cost related issues
To liaise with clients, legislative bodies and all associated third parties in relation to operations projects work scopes
To provide comprehensive and timely progress reports to the Operations & Training Manager and clients
To conduct technical review of deliverables to ensure compliance with contractual, client, company and legislative requirements
To provide guidance and advice on Production and Technical issues
To attend client technical meetings in UK, overseas or offshore as required
To protect and enhance the company reputation
To comply with Health and Safety Policy
Minimum Qualifications :
HNC or equivalent in an appropriate technical discipline
Minimum Experience :
Practical experience in a supervisory role within oil and gas production operations, marine or petrochemical industries
Job-Specific Skills :
Ability to motivate and communicate effectively with staff at all levels; assess situations and resolve potential problem areas of conflict.
Strong communications skills. Team leader and client focussed
Discipline Specific :
Technical writing capability
Project management and reporting
Supervision and staff management
Comprehensive understanding of oil & gas production operations, including platforms, floaters and subsea
