The Concierge is responsible for providing a reliable and up to date source of information to hotel guests and visitors, with a warm, friendly and efficient welcome and continuing service throughout their visit with the aim to exceed guest expectations through intuitive service.

General Responsibilities Include :

  • Ensures all guests are greeted, welcomed and baggage assistance is offered
  • Is a source of information, help and assistance to all guests and colleagues
  • Ensures all guest queries and requests for information are handled efficiently
  • Establishes and develops personal guest contact
  • Handles guest complaints effectively
  • Maintains the privacy of all guests
  • Maintains good relationships with the various sources of hotel patrons who have influence over our business, such as Corporate Accounts, Travel Agents, Tour Operators, etc
  • Skills / Knowledge Required :

  • Fluency in English essential
  • Knowledge of either French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German or Russian
  • Excellent customer service skills, courteous and professional
  • Sound knowledge of the local environment
  • A highly positive and enthusiastic attitude with a warm a friendly demeanor
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Exceptional personal presentation
  • Qualification Standards :

    Education : High school certificate or equivalent with additional hospitality related qualification / s.

    Experience : Needs to have a minimum of two to three years experience as a Concierge in a five star luxury hotel environment in the United Arab Emirates

    Licenses or Certificates :

    Grooming : All colleagues must maintain a neat, and well groomed appearance (specific standards will be provided)
