About therole :

Anexciting role has arisen in the Culinarydepartment at Madinat Jumeirah Resort for a highly motivated andhardworking individual.

The main purpose of this position is to cook any foodon a daily basis according to business requirements.

Yourmain duties will include :

  • Tomaintain the Physical Product and to advise of any faults
  • Toattend training set by company and ortheir seniors
  • Tofully understand HACCP and COSHH and take appropriate action to maintain a safeand equitable working environment whilst being sensitive to, and aware of,business levels in order to maintain a disciplined but harmonious department
  • Workto the specifications received by the Chef de Partie regarding portionsize, quantity and quality as laid down in the recipe index maintainingstandards and consistency
  • Checkthe main information board regarding changes in any Banquets or otherinformation regarding the organization
  • Tounderstand and to be aware of food costs within your department
  • Passall information to the next shift about functions through a proper handover system
  • Adhereto all Jumeirah standards and HACCP guidelines
  • About you :

    The ideal candidate for this position will have thefollowing experience and qualifications :

  • At least 1 year experience in similarrole in a five-star hotel orstandalone restaurant
  • Certificateor Diploma in Culinary
  • You must have a basicunderstanding of culinary operation
  • Good command of English language (spoken and written)
