As the Logistics Coordinator Middle East you will be responsible for ensure operational excellence within the assigned area, define and deploy the logistics strategy and maximize company profitability by effectively leading internal procedures and processes.
Elaborate logistics budget in cooperation with Finance department
Monitor actual expenses vs budget and manage cost and performance to match logistics budget and service levels
Review all rates and delivery terms with Freight forwarders used in the region
Define corrective actions to respect budget and ensure their implementation
Coordinate with central logistics transportation and customs activities to offer best service to stores (lead times)
Ensure prompt deliveries to store and prompt update in the systems of all shipment (ASN vouchers, price, conversion table.
by local back offices / stores
Coordinate and monitor all transfers proposal, merchandise delivery schedule, returns of merchandise, follow up on discrepancies in deliveries and insurance claims
Optimize stock management with product merchandising team and Supply Chain Team
Coordinate with Freight Forwarder in Europe and local freight forwarder agent and customs broker to insure prompt booking of flight, prompt clearance and delivery to store
Issue shipping procedure to all interested parties
Check and approve custom duties computation and freights invoices
Define and monitor KPI and objectives, define corrective and improvement actions plans
Solid experience in logistics and administrative operations
good knowledge and understanding of the fashion retail world needs and requirements.
Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
Proficiency in IT tools
Fluency in English is a must
