THE ROLE

As Senior member of the GEO Marketing team, you will be responsible for coordinatingGeneral Marketing activities across GEO ensuring day to day activities arehandled properly and acting as first point of contact for Sales and Sector teamwithin the GEO.

With a strong backgroundon Digital Marketing and Communications you will be responsible for developingand managing the GEO marketing strategy for digital and external / internalcommunications, supporting the GEO Sales and Sector teams with demandgeneration and to drive revenue and growth.

You will be working closely withall functions of Corporate Marketing so that regions are updated on alldevelopments / initiatives ensuring that the interest / needs of the regions aretaken into account when planning and executing initiatives.

You will supportthe GEO 3 year plan and SITA Strategy, with clear alignment for the GEOMarketing plan to drive the generation of sales leads via marketing programmescommunications and other activities taking into account the regional markettrends and manage marketing expenditure within the allocated budget.

You willbe maintaining the integrity of SITA's brand and protect or strengthen SITA'sbrand and will ensure the design of events that optimize speaking opportunitiespress coverage , Survey results and will translate the agreed business messagesinto leading-

edge marketing communications and build SITA brand value acrossthe region's customer base and marketplace which includes advertising PR eventsbranding customer seminars direct marketing campaigns web-

based activitiescollateral production and internal communication.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • You must be strong enough in marketing,external / internal communications and or PR experience preferably in Telecommunications,IT, Air Transport or Travel industries?
  • Do you have solid experience in managing marketingteams and delivering against agreed objectives for business growth?
  • Do you have strong customer focused background withexperience of managing internal key stakeholders and collaborate across matrixorganisation for GEO marketing activities, Project Management for events andcustomer facing engagements?
  • Do you have experience in analysing complexsituations and providing sound recommendations?
  • Do you have strong understanding / Experience inlatest tools (Kapost, SFDC, Hootsuite, Everyone Social etc,) and web technologies?
