Your main responsibilities will include : -
1. Sales & Business Development
Oversee sales execution for EV Charging Solutions in the Gulf sub-region. Find and examine potential partners and channels.
Identify and assist in the development of potential opportunities at early stage (feasibility, feed). Create added value for the customer and ABB and ensure the successful outcome of transactions, contract and proposal by using effective sales techniques.
Prepare offers and ensure appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
Communicate details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions).
Responsible for product approvals through utilities and key stake holders.
Create, plan and ensure implementation of the local go-to market product marketing strategy including definition and communication of product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy.
Establish product marketing targets and budgets. Ensure their achievement through regular oversight, and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed.
4. Business Plans
Develop and implement annual marketing plans in conjunction with relevant business units / product groups. Prepare business plans focused on business development for a defined market.
Coordinate market analyses with sales team members and define appropriate forecasts and plans. Evaluate and share customer research, market conditions and competitor data.
Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
Drive sales efficiency by ensuring appropriate product knowledge (technical and sales) for each sales person in the region.
Ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration. Support partners and customers with after sales service / product / systems related to EV Charging Solutions.
Ideally you should have a degree in electrical / electronic engineering with minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in product management, sales and business development.
Good commercial knowledge and understanding of business-to-business sales for industrial (electrical) equipment. Experience on electrical vehicle Infrastructure / chargers and E-
mobility is highly beneficial as well as experience in the local market either with an automobile Industry or reputed MNC is preferred.
