The Manager - Outreach and Engagement is responsible to promote HCT to its local community through alignment of campus practices to community requirements, events and marketing activities in coordination with Central Services.
The incumbent is responsible to contribute in the establishment and maintenance of an alumni network in coordination with Central Services.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required e.g. Marketing, Media Relations, Communications.
Minimum of six years of work experience in Outreach and Engagement or any relevant field with at least two years of experience in a managerial role.
Lead the implementation of campus Outreach and Engagement strategic objectives and initiatives.
Support with the development and implementation of Outreach and Engagement's policies, procedures and processes, and monitor compliance of subordinates.
Lead the identification of opportunities to promote HCT and the campus within its community through events, marketing, network of alumni, and engagement with community's public and private organisations.
Oversee the alignment of campus programmes / activities to community trends (e.g. demand and supply of talent, practices, and business requirements) and provide advice to campus' management and academic staff on improvement opportunities.
Lead the establishment and maintenance of Outreach and Engagement database (related to Industry Liaison, Alumni Affairs, Events and Marketing) to enhance overall performance of the function.
Should have Excellent communications skills in English & Arabic.
