We are looking for anexperienced Techno / Functional consultant who has an understanding of solutions,industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designswithin Oracle HRMS / HCM.

Operates independently to provide quality work productsto an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that needindependent judgment.

Demonstrates expertiseto deliver technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. Mayact as the team lead on projects.

Responsibilities

  • Understandsand analyzes business requirements from a functional perspective andefficiently translate these requirements into the relevant technical documents.
  • Identifiesand resolve key issues related to code change requirements and bug fixes
  • Activelyinvolved in knowledge transfer both within the Oracle team and to end users.
  • Worksclosely with the leadership to provide realistic estimates and drive excellencein technical work.
  • Organizesand communicate across functional and technical lines are critical.
  • Experiencein the creation, managing and resolution of Oracle SRs with Oracle Support.
  • Reviewstechnical and functional designs driving towards simple, sustainable, andreusable solutions.
  • PerformsProduction Support activities for organization's internal customers.
  • Implementingand rolling out the developed solutions in Oracle ERP based environment.
  • Providesintegrated systems planning and recommend new functionalities, technologies andprocesses targeting improved bottom line for the organization.
  • Researchesand evaluates new and / or alternative solutions and technologies to enhanceoperational effectiveness and reduce costs.
  • Providesin-depth technical and functional solution to Business Unit and IT managementand ensure development of efficient application systems utilizing establishedstandards, procedures, and methodologies.

  • Self-motivatedindividual who works well in a team environment and mentor the team.
  • Experiencein working as part of Global / Matrixed / Virtual teams. Strong interpersonalskills.

  • AnyOracle certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • TOGAFand ITIL certifications would be preferable.
  • Strongtechnical knowledge in different eBS HRMS modules, SQL and PL-SQL is a plus.
  • ExcellentKnowledge in dealing with Oracle Workflow and AME.
  • GoodTechno functional knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellentanalytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellentverbal and written communication skills.
  • Expertisein functional areas of : HR, Payroll, SSHR, Time & Labor modules(OTL),OLMand Advance Benefits
  • Ableto independently provide Techno-functional support on issues related to HRMSmodules
  • AdvancedSQL skills. Able to write efficient SQL’s in Oracle is a must
  • Previousexperience of working within a support environment, underpinned by ITIL basedworking practices (the candidate should ideally be certified at Foundationlevel for ITIL, but training to support this will be provided if a candidatecan demonstrate understanding of the principles)
  • Experiencein Upgrade Projects is an advantageous
  • Asa member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-salessupport and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocatefor customer needs
  • Producethe estimations of the solution and involved in the high level planning andimplementation methodology of the project.
  • Considereda plus :

  • 2-4years of hands-on experience in implementing Cloud ERP
  • Techno-Functionalexperience would be advantageous
  • Technicalknowledge of : Oracle DB, PL / SQL, SQL, BI Publisher, Oracle APIs, OracleInterfaces
  • Experiencein software full lifecycle methodology
  • ExperienceDesired :

    Detailed Description and Job Requirements

    As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs.

    This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services.

    A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

    As an Advisory Systems Engineer, you are expected to be an expert member of the problem-solving / avoidance team and be highly skilled in solving extremely complex (often previously unknown), critical customer issues.

    Performing the assigned duties with a high level of autonomy and reporting to management on customer status and technical matters on a regular basis, you will be expected to work with very limited guidance from management.

    Further, the Advisory Systems Engineer is sought by customers and Oracle employees to provide expert technical advice.

    Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical / business skills in area of specialization.

    Because of substantial customer interfacing, a demonstrated ability to work with customers on an independent basis with exceptional communication skills, while consistently achieving the absolute highest levels of customer satisfaction.

    Both a Bachelor*s and Master*s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience 8 years related experience prior to taking this position.

    In addition, experience with Oracle*s core products, applications, and tools.
