To have a sound knowledge of Statutory HSES regulations and marine industry standards and ensure their correct implementation in line with company HSES System.
Ensure that HSES Communications received from HSES managers or Division Manager are brought to the attention of all employees.
Interface with onsite client representative as required.
Attend all relevant HSES meetings and coordinate one all HSES issues between HSE committee, management Committee and line management.
Providing meaningful advice to line-management on HSES matters including legislative and industry standards.
Regularly inspect the work areas to identify unsafe acts and conditions and advise line management of those that cannot be immediately corrected
Coordinate and assist with incident notifications and investigations including compilation and submittal of completed reports in a timely manner.
monitoring the results and quality of TRAs and Trent Analysis Reports.
Assist with medical evacuations (medivacs) and respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
Carry out critical subcontractor evaluation and monitor as relevant.Initiate, coordinate and record emergency drills, ensure a post drill review / de-
brief is conducted and make recommendations for the improvement of their effectiveness.
Monitor environmental issues at the work location and liaise with the Environmental Coordinator.
Assist with the planning of PTW's and TRA's and inspect all Permit to work documents ensuring their suitability and compliance prior to issuance.
maintain and keep up to date all relevant HSES documentation libraries.
Min. 7 years HSES related work experience
BS / Diploma in Safety or Environmental Management or equivalent
