Position Summary :
As an integral member of the Leica Geosystems EMEA Sales Team, the role is responsible in revitalising and supporting the GNSS Networks and Reference Stations (NRS) activity and can be based anywhere in Europe looking after the EMEA region.
The incumbent will mainly be involved in the sales, implementation and commercial support activity and to make sure that (potential) customers are visited, upcoming tenders are known, tender requirements are influenced, requirements are fully understood in close cooperation with the BU and commercial / technical offers are executed on time.
Assist and take the lead to manage the process and timely completion of tender responses. Responsibility includes helping the Leica Selling Units and Distribution Partners to develop the NRS business for the regions Nordics, UK & Benelux, Central incl. SEE and South.
Key Accountabilities :
Develop and execute sales strategy / plan of the NRS solutions portfolio in the market by effectively understanding and communicating value propositions
Prepare technical offers from basic to turn-key solutions and related financial offers in coordination with the Leica Geosystems Selling Unit and Regional Sales Managers
Provide both on and off-site pre-sales consultancy and support to prospective and existing Reference Stations Customers
Conceptualise and deliver product and solution workshops internally and to Customers and maintain a complete fully operational demonstration area at the headquarters in Switzerland
Engage with the Business Unit to report market feedback, trends and expectations related to product functionality or services and quantitative and qualitative updates on upcoming sales opportunities to refine production planning
Understand and assess the capabilities of current and future Leica Geosystems NRS solutions portfolio in the market and recommend customer feedback and development requirements / requests
Ensure that all NRS activity and quotations are input into Leica tools e.g. Sales Force and On-line Quotation tool
Ensure regular communication and engagement with direct reports to discuss and update on all sales and support issues and activities of the segment
Engage with the Business Unit to report market feedback, trends and expectations related to product functionality or services, request support with technical requirements and solutions from the BU, and provide regular quantitative and qualitative updates to the BU on upcoming sales opportunities to refine production planning
Support the promotion of Leica Geosystems Reference Station solutions via social media, exhibitions, case studies, etc.
