About the Job :

An exciting opportunity hasarisen for a highly motivated Finance Executive Income Audit to join theFinance team at Zabeel House by Jumeirah The Greens.

The main purpose ofthe role is to ascertain that all daily revenues that should have been receivedby the property are properly recorded as well as to ensure correct workstructure wherever the revenue is generated within the Revenue Cycle areas ofaccounting.

Your key duties will include :

  • Ensurethat the Room Rates are charged as per contract
  • VerifyComplimentary room report and forward it to the Assistant FinanceManager / Financial Controller for review
  • Reviewinghouse use rooms, any discrepancy to be brought to the Assistant FinanceManager / Financial Controllers attention.
  • Verifythe Late Check Out Report for proper day use charges and late check out
  • Verify Trial Balance’ (D) card thoroughly and update general ledger accordingly
  • Examineall void / altered checks whether signed by authorized person
  • Prepareof overage / shortage report every month
  • Serialcontrol of all O.O.D. (other operation documents) vouchers on pre-numberedforms
  • Verificationof Banquet check with event order
  • Copyof check to be attached and filed in separate box file
  • Beveragecharges on banquet check to be verified with banquet consumption sheet if openbar on consumption basis
  • Checkingof food and beverage prices in Micros as and when new menu is in operation.
  • SpotCheck FCS (Federal Computer System) report with PABX (Telephone System) forduration, number of pales and accuracy of interface.
  • CompleteGeneral Cashier’s summary
  • Checkcashier count sheet on remittance log book / witness sheet
  • Verificationof foreign currency received and deposited in bank, foreign exchange rates,paid out vouchers for proper approval and limit, guest signature for any creditbalance refund upon departure.
  • Paidout / refund voucher to be forwarded to the Assistant Finance Manager / FinancialController’s approval
  • About You :

    Inorder to be considered for this role, you must have :

  • Degreein Finance & Accounting
  • Hoteland Resort experience
  • MiddleEast experience
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as IncomeAuditor
  • Itis essential that you have good command of the English language (spoken andwritten) and you should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Opera,Micros, Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon).
