Essential and optional requirements
GENERAL PURPOSE :
To assist the Cost Controller in receiving and checking all goods coming into the Hotel.
To provide courteous, professional, efficient, flexible and consistent service that are in line with the Accor Group standard Policies & Procedures in order to maximize guest satisfaction.
To be fully aware and conversant of Accor spirit, values and goals and is responsible to integrate them in the day to day operation.
To be fully aware and conversant of ISO14001 policies and procedures and is responsible to integrate them in the day to day operation.
To ensure delivery of the 15-Minutes Guest Satisfaction Guarantee Service as per IBIS standard
To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook.
To be familiar with the policies and procedures concerning fire, emergency evacuation, accidents, bomb threats, law and order situations and to take appropriate action in order to protect guests, staff and the hotel property in any given situation.
To monitor all goods movement in / out the hotel and ensure that they are properly recorded.
To ensure that any goods coming into the hotel have been properly ordered and met the specification (in quantity and quality).
To ensure that all goods received in the hotel are accounted for and supported.
To discharge the duties in an effective and efficient manner.
To ensure that all goods received are properly supported by valid hotel purchase orders.
To examine both quality and quantity of goods received in coordination with related department before accepting the delivery.
To ensure that goods are promptly moved to store or concerned department once received.
To ensure that outgoing goods are properly documented and accounted for.
To closely monitor with Purchaser all pending or partial deliveries.
To be responsible for recording and distributing reports as per hotel policies and procedures, such as duly signed individual receiving record, receiving report, etc
To be ready and responsible when assigned to perform any other duties as designated by higher management.
To take responsibility to ensure all required tasks are completed accurately and within given time frames.
To attend training programmes and meetings as directed to constantly improve skills and knowledge.
To abide by Accor policy on EEO and Harassment in the workplace.
To follow the expectations and guidelines outlined in the Accor Employee Handbook and the Hotel Staff Handbook.
To ensure Hotel, Customer and Staff information or transactions are kept confidential during or after employment with the company.
