Sales Executive, Door Solutions
P rincipal Responsibilities :
Implement sales plans to achieve / exceed agreed bookings / sales targets for the market.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with target customers, contractors, distributors through a consultative selling approach and regular call pattern to drive conversion of specifications and achieve annual goals.
Support demand creation activity by networking with major contractors / architects and relevant ministries to support specification on major projects
Proactively implement sales plans to develop new business including competitor displacement through aggressive prospecting and lead follow up.
Facilitate and coordinate all project requirements including leading the commercial negotiations, ensuring production capacity and aligning delivery schedule.
Submit pre-qualification documents, follow approval and be responsible for any minor modifications
Proactively and constructively analyze customer accounts to determine potential for both present and future needs.
Prepare and participate in product training; local, regional and / or national trade shows and association meetings.
Maintain excellent industry / territory knowledge by reviewing and understanding market data of competitive activity. Adapt to change in marketplace.
Maintain and utilize CRM tool for sales reporting and to communicate sales activities.
Maintain knowledge on new products / opportunities and implement plans to support them.
Effective sales planning & forecasting.
Maintain and submit timely and accurate reports in accordance with agreed format & frequency
Adhere to the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct in representing yourself and the company.
Maintain awareness of all Allegion policies, guidelines and procedures and ensure compliance
Be an active member of the sales organization
Experience / Knowledge / Skills :
Results orientated with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets
Influencing skills to build strong relationships with external customers / sound account management skills
Knowledge of the GCC market including existing strong relationships
Relevant industry experience essential with knowledge of door and ironmongery product advantageous
Commercial acumen with intense customer focus and a hunger to win
Experience in dealing with commercial contracts for major contractors and proven record of closing big projects
Experience in handling pre-qualification documents and understanding the submittal process.
The ability to identify key stakeholders in a decision making process
Confident negotiator with the ability to achieve win win’ outcomes
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to manage competing priorities with multiple projects and strict time constraints
Self-motivated with a pro-active approach to problem solving
Territory management and forward planning skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point)
Maintain knowledge of applicable codes
Maintain industry certifications where applicable
Current driving license
Fluency in English & Arabic (preferably)
Able to travel freely in GCC region
