Job Description

Information Management & Collaboration Specialist (IMSC) will be responsible for the management and maintenance of O&G information and data related to the business functions and projects within O&G.

Reporting to the Information Management Solutions team in O&G, the IMSC will provide access, support, guidance and training to O&G employees using collaborative platforms (SharePoint portals, office 365 online) and customized O&G applications.

In addition, the IMSC will analyze O&G sector business information and collaboration tools to identify required contents management applications and promote the implementation of collaborative tools and platforms.

The IMSC will provide, when required, collaborative applications support and customized approach to fulfill the needs of the business.

Role and responsibilities :

  • Manage and maintain Oil & Gas Sharepoint portals users’ access permissions
  • Maintain O&G Projects Database metadata and ensure contents accuracy
  • Serve as the first point of contact to assist O&G users with questions and support users experiencing difficulties with SharePoint 2013 collaboration portals
  • Perform site creation and maintenance activities
  • Customize and Support O&G SharePoint portals, provide training to O&G employees, leverage people's knowledge, create and maintain process and training documentation
  • Support the end users on business information management and data structure
  • Assist with the digital evolution change and implementation of latest tools
  • Participate in establishing of a sector strategy in terms of collaboration & innovation
  • Customize SharePoint Applications (list, library, forms, and calendar...) and define principle guidelines which are in direct line with the organization’s vision
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with user’s access
  • Deliver a consistent process for incident and problem escalation along with resolution in line with the sourcing governance framework.
  • Assist with the creation of policies around the proper use of SharePoint
  • Identify and resolve problems affecting SharePoint applications
  • Working with Quality, maintain Quality Management System documents located in the Capability Hub
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience as a Sharepoint Administrator in the analysis, design, hands-on development and support of SharePoint project sites
  • Knowledge in Infopath or Nintex form development
  • Knowledge in workflow development in Nintex or SharePoint Designer 2013
  • Office 365 or any other Microsoft certifications is a plus
  • Knowledge of Office 365 Teams / Groups / Video / Delve / Power BI.
  • Deep understanding of supporting Office desktop applications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Abilities to listen and understand user requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Information Technology & Digital curiosity , to take responsibility and ownership of staying to date with industry leading IT standards and practices
  • Advanced Knowledge in SharePoint List / Library modification and set up
  • Interpersonal skills with an aptitude for communicating technical issues to both peers and non-technical employees
