Key Job Responsibilities

As a Data EntryOperator, you are responsible to post passport information of Hotel Guests onthe day of their arrival by updating the system provided to the Hotel by PoliceDepartment under the general guidance of the Front Office Manager.

  • Update in thePoliceputer details of all in house guests and Events in the hotel.
  • Ensure thatpassport scanning is done correctly by Reception colleagues, highlighting anymistakes to the Front Office Manager.
  • Ensures that theupdating of the information is done in a timely manner and that backlog at theReception are kept to the minimum
  • Ensures accuracy ininputting the details in the Policeputer as per the established standardsby Police (CID) Department
  • Check and ensurethat the total guest count in the police system corresponds with that in OperaPMS at all times. Differences can only be temporary, must be investigated,followed up and resolved immediately
  • Assist theReception whenever required
  • Maintain an up todate knowledge of hotel information and local services, including operatinghours, promotions, events, attractions and any allied information to supplyinformation respond to guest queries
  • Maintain awarenessof guest profile through Opera PMS Guest history and updates those accordinglyfor future reference
  • Ideally with a relevant diploma in Hospitality / Tourism
  • Minimum 1-2 years of work experience / training in a 4 star hotel
  • Excellentmunication skills and interpersonal skills are a must
  • Proficiency inmunication and math skills is imperative.
  • The ability to work in a team is also an essential skill.
  • The ability to work in shifts and odd hours is required.
  • Arabic speaking is a must.
