Overview

The Account Executive exhibits the potential skills of the account management discipline. Understands the agency portfolio of offerings and how to apply them to solve client business problems.

Partners and owns the relationship with clients at the most junior levels. Is an Agency Driver that works to keep the agency operations moving along.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and lead community management with multiple key accounts
  • Develop content calendars and write copy based on designed visuals and research
  • Analyse and report monthly and campaign data, across set KPIs
  • Handle a broad variety of tasks with a high degree of independence, proactivity and sound judgement
  • Play a primary role in implementing work on client accounts and projects
  • Manage social media monitoring and publishing solutions as necessary
  • Learn the client business, prepare client deliverables and become a brand expert and trusted client advisor
  • Perform day-to-day account work confidently and competently
  • Work effectively with team members, to implement assignments on budget and on deadline, balancing priorities
  • Understand basic principles of direct marketing, offer targeting and segmentation strategies
  • Demonstrate familiarity with online marketing channels such as email marketing and overall best practices
  • Lead and perform community management
  • Manage creative development & review process
  • Liaise between client, outside suppliers and other internal and external contacts
  • Build expertise on a brand’s competitive landscape and product differentiators
  • Understand appropriate research techniques for strategy, creative, and media needs
  • Write simple creative briefs and POV’s with supervision
  • Participate in / has exposure to development of client marketing strategy
  • Establish core relationships with junior clients
  • Know when to escalate potential problems
  • Develop key creative relationships
  • Evaluate creative work and provides feedback for revisions, as needed
  • Adequately represent client interests to team
  • Collaborate with specialists at appropriate times to ensure consensus around scoping, project approach, etc.
  • Co-ordinate social media projects and campaigns with various stakeholders
  • Understand the implications of business strategy on project decisions
  • Sets up meetings, includes the appropriate stakeholders, and provides accurate agendas and precise, actionable meeting notes
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • At least one year in a social media role
  • Strong writing skills both English and Arabic
  • MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Photoshop (design) and video editing skills are a bonus
  • Positive attitude, detail oriented with good multitasking and organizational skills
