As bid manager

  • Work with deal team leadershipfor the development, refinement and execution of strategy and roles
  • Ensure deal compliancewith internal controls and review criteria
  • Manage relationshipswith teaming partners, subcontractors, third parties and Subject Matter Experts(SMEs)
  • As deal shaper

  • Apply Accenture’s salesprocess and sales campaign management methodology to a sales opportunity afterqualification
  • Manage interface withsales lead(s), legal, finance, contracting, human resources, recruiting,marketing, and other internal organizations
  • Engage directly on allmajor outsourcing targeted opportunities to conduct or oversee product oroffering positioning, key contracting terms / conditions, deal shaping andfinancial structuring, including pricing strategies and / or performance-
  • basedcontracting elements

  • Perform sensitivityanalysis to maximize financial returns while minimizing risk, includingcompetitive pricing analysis (e.
  • g., price range / price-to-win targeting andBlack Hat process)

    As negotiator

  • Lead businessnegotiation for Accenture’s most complex deals, as defined by scope, size, andthe nature of the issues
  • Convey to others thedisciplined methodology and tools for following Accenture’s preferrednegotiation methodology
  • Advise and coachindividuals or deal teams on how to develop strategy, prepare, conductnegotiations and debrief and lead negotiation workshops to advance executiveskill sets
  • Advise executiveleadership on current negotiation trends and behaviors within Accenture and thebroader market
  • Meet with clients tohelp shape the deal / requirements and / or negotiate software license deal termsas appropriate
  • Provide thoughtleadership on financial deal shaping, including acquisition strategies,contract structure, pricing strategies and incentive plans
  • Contribute to profitablesales growth as a member of an opportunity deal team
  • Create sales campaignstrategy and ensure involvement of Accenture Leadership to develop winning,compelling, and compliant win strategies and proposals
  • Develop capture tactics,competitive analysis, and teaming strategies that balance program risk andreward
  • Support client deliveryand business development teams in building relationships with clientdecision-makers and key influencers
  • Ensure capture strategyand proposal activities comply with internal controls, ensuring corporate andinternal reviews are conducted
