The RSM is a key position within the Masimo India team and is responsible for the full P&L of the region, including all sales, marketing, customer relationship management, and distribution activities in their region.

This includes, development of a regional sales strategy, identification of key opinion leaders and target accounts, identification and appointment of Distributors & Channel Partners, securing customer

Meetings to review Masimo products and technologies, tender response, pricing, delivery and installation of product at client site and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of the Masimo business for the region, including customer relationship management direct & in-
  • direct sales, marketing, clinical, technical service and customer service.

  • Lead customer C-Level discussions and position Masimo’s connectivity & Hospital Automation solutions to the C-Suite
  • Facilitate customer workshops to integrate Masimo technologies into their workflows and interact with all functions of the Hospital
  • Manage the territory clinical sales manager(s) and provide guidance and leadership on an on-going basis.
  • Provide effective distributor management including; appoint, support, coordinate, manage and review distributor performance to ensure continuity of sales.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with all key Masimo customers in the region.
  • Develop strategic plans aimed at increasing Masimo business in specific target accounts / region as agreed with Country Manager.
  • Work with Country Manager to develop annual sales budgets and strategic plans and work diligently to successfully achieve annual sales and profitability plans.
  • Develop market knowledge including competitor activities and market information pertaining to Masimo core business. This should specifically focus on opportunities to develop and grow the business over the short, medium and long term.
  • Present technical solutions to hospitals for Connectivity , showcasing clinical, operational, and financial benefits of SafetyNet to hospitals C Suites.
  • Work closely with clinical and technical support teams in Singapore / Switzerland / USA
  • Report all defective product incidents within the assigned sales region in a timely manner to Masimo, utilizing the RMA process.
  • Assist relevant Masimo supply chain with product manufacturing forecasting to ensure reliable supply of products to customers.
  • Provide product training to Customers and distributor’s sales team as required.
  • Relationship

  • Will report to the Country Manager, and interact extensively with, distributors, and customers on a regular basis.
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of direct-sales experience of medical products and solutions in the region where the position is based, with experience in Patient Monitoring sales.
  • Should have led C-Level meetings and facilitated cross-functional workshops with various healthcare functions including Bed Management, Reimbursements, Billing, Clinicians, Purchasing and Biomedical staff.
  • Should be clinically proficient and capable of conducting product demonstrations, differentiating technologies & their applications in a clinical setting, and should have specific experience in selling to and supporting clinicians in NICU, ICU, and OT.
  • Healthcare IT experience is preferred and background knowledge of Hospital IT and EMR connectivity a plus
  • Must have managed a sales team, set sales targets and provided coaching and leadership to team members.
  • Should have set-up and managed Distributors & Channel Partners in the region.
  • Proven network of customers in the Healthcare space, specifically Key Opinion Leaders in the field and senior leaders at corporate accounts.
  • Must have extensive experience with tendering both at local and state-wide level.
  • Master’s Degree in Management, and a Bachelor’s Degree in science, nursing, marketing or related medical business field.
  • Excellent and effective English oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present to Sr. Leaders, facilitate workings Sessions and meetings with Executives, and lead Win-
  • Win negotiation discussions with Sr. Leaders.

  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively, and work weekends as needed
  • Training

  • Must become extremely familiar with Masimo products, competitive advantages, functionality etc.
  • Expectations and Compensation

  • The position is based in Bengaluru, India.
  • Compensation is commiserate with experience and will have a fixed base pay with a variable bonus pay based on achievement of objectives and company performance.
  • This position will have a sales and profitability target.
