Summary

The E-Sourcing Specialist will be reporting into the Head of Procurement Compliance and will be responsible to take ownership of E-

sourcing process and manage end-to-end E-sourcing operations across AF Group.

Accountabilities

  • Take ownership of E-sourcing process and manage end-to-end E-sourcing operations across AF Group.
  • Prepare an online bid pipeline highlighting the status of all upcoming projects / requirements and the bid schedule on a weekly basis.
  • Pro-actively co-ordinate with the Sourcing team to discuss and identify all projects / requirements potential for online bid.
  • Validate the quotes / price comparative and Supplier sign-off forwarded by Category Specialist for completeness and promptly highlight apparent errors / omissions.
  • Identify new suppliers / contractors from the documents received and validate the RFI.
  • Develop and execute lotting strategy to arrive at a feasible option to create a competitive driven environment.
  • Build the bidding strategy and finalise an appropriate auction template to derive optimum savings.
  • Manage the bidding process and ensure seamless execution at all its stages.
  • Ensure all E-Sourcing activities / documentation are carried out in compliance with the requisite DOA, policies, procedures, and principles of best practice including ethics and probity
  • Assist Al Futtaim Internal users on all Ariba Sourcing related inquiries / issues and notify all process updates.
  • Prepare the bid summary report and recommendations, track cost savings against the budget / historic price and provide periodic reports to the management and to all stakeholders.
  • Promptly highlight all the challenges of E-sourcing to the Head of Procurement Compliance.
  • Extensive support and coordination with the Sourcing team and assist with the historic spend on specific categories as and when required.
  • Experience and Knowledge :

    Minimum 6 years of procurement domain experience, preferably across various spend categories.

    Minimum 4 years’ experience is required working on SAP & ARIBA

    Skills and Competencies (behavioral and related to AF values) :

  • Excellent command on Ariba Sourcing technology.
  • Excellent co-ordination skills with the project teams / internal customers and suppliers.
  • To be able to analyze the data and recommend suggestions for optimum savings.
  • To be able to complete tasks and meet deadlines as required by the business.
  • Sound knowledge of procurement trends and market condition.
  • To be able to contribute significantly towards achieving overall savings.
  • Strong understanding of various E-Sourcing strategies and its application.
  • Should be able to demonstrate and uphold Al Futtaim Values of ethics and integrity at all times
