What is the job about?
The Commercial Excellence Manager function is driving the service transformation programme within the region and hereby supports the Regional Service Director in heading the execution of Grundfos one out five must-
win-battles in the Grundfos 2020 strategy.
Reporting to the Regional Service Director, the primary focus of the commercial excellence manager will be to help formulate and execute various strategic projects in the service area and subsequently follow up on project progress.
Some of the position’s main responsibilities are to :
Take active part in defining and scoping strategic projects in close collaboration with the Regional Service Director as well as key stakeholders in the global service organisations
Execute strategic projects independently (E.g. commercializing service implementation, commercial excellence roll-out in local service markets, organisational improvement projects etc.)
Drive cross-company improvement programmes in Region within the commercial area (e.g. installed base projects)
Manage key stakeholders across the service organisations required to execute strategic projects effectively
Contribute to identifying competitor insights and opportunities within Service - in close collaboration with local markets
Prepare presentations and decision material for regional service leadership team incl. strategy reviews, business cases etc.
Support the RSD in the annual planning wheel in EEWAA service (strategic planning and reviews, budget preparations, townhall meetings, newsletters etc.)
What do you need to apply?
To be considered for this position you should fulfill the following requirements :
Master's degree in business administration, finance, strategy, economics, engineering or similar
3+ years of experience in the area of strategy or business development with exposure to senior management and working cross-
functionally (either from a similar role in a corporate setting or from consulting business)
Proven track record in scoping and driving complex projects within the commercial / strategic area
Strong analytical toolbox (Ability to break-down issues, structure and carry out analysis as well as deduct solid conclusions and recommendations)
Ability to maintain an overview of project tasks and deliverables as well as planning and prioritising, which allows you to take suitable measures when driving multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to communicate in a clear and structured manor both written and orally
Organisational savviness, i.e. the abilíty to interact with, motivate and influence people cross-functionally in a collaborative and solution-oriented manor
High standards for work performance, execution and follow up on delegated tasks and decisions to the satisfaction of involved parties
Willingness to travel 50% of the working time
