The Manager HADEF is responsible to manage HADEF-related matters including, but not limited to, release time, reimbursement and academic status.
The incumbent is responsible to monitor the effective implementation of learning and development programmes to HADEF members in coordination with Education Technologies.
Minimum of a Master's degree in a relevant field is required e.g. Education, Business Administration.
Full English and Arabic proficiency are required.
Intermediate computer literacy is required e.g. MS Office.
Minimum of eight years of relevant work experience in Faculty Affairs and Applied Research with at least two years of experience in a managerial role.
Lead the implementation of Faculty Affairs and Applied Research's strategic objectives and initiatives.
Support with the development and implementation of HADEF policies, procedures and processes and monitor compliance of subordinates.
Understand the needs of HADEF members and the gaps compared to HCT's standards.
Manage HADEF-related matters, including but not limited to, selection, performance, reimbursement, academic status, movement to full-
time employee, release time, and accreditation.
Follow-up on graduate studies of HADEF members to ensure relevance to their academic division and for accreditation purposes in line with HADEF policies.
Coordinate Education Technologies for the development and implementation of professional development activities for UAE National faculty members.
Monitor implementation of learning and development programmes and initiatives to HADEF members.
Coordinate with Programme Chairs, faculty members and Education Technologies to monitor the improvement of HADEF members and their ability to take on teaching assignments.
Develop periodic reports on HADEF members' on-going graduate studies, academic status and other relevant matters.
Coordinate with HR to provide necessary input on HADEF members who moved to full-time employees.
Report to HADEF committee on all HADEF-related matters in a timely and accurate manner.
Provide professional development support and perform periodic performance appraisals for direct subordinates based on HCT's Performance Management System.
Coach and mentor subordinates on a regular basis.
Contribute in an effective and efficient manner to the recruitment and development of UAE Nationals.
