The role is cross-functional across different business fields and covers Customer Implementation Project Management in UAE and Oman.

Furthermore, the role takes overall leadership, accountability for strategy, and business plan related to Customer Solutions Activities in the UAE and Oman cluster.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • CUSTOMER IMPLEMENTATION MANAGEMENT, UAE / OMAN : -
  • Lead end-to-end Project Implementation Management for new / existing business re-designs in line with KN’s Global Customer Implementation Methodology (GCIM)
  • Post-award Solutions engineering
  • Project management, communication with customers and internal colleagues
  • Post production support
  • Support and coordinate with other regions on global implementations LIM / RIM
  • Be responsible for the operational integration of solutions, including operational alignment and SOP development
  • Progress reporting on global projects
  • Tender solution support
  • GCIM methodology and implementation training within CST team in country
  • CUSTOMER SOLUTION ACTIVITIES, UAE / OMAN :
  • National drive, strategy and business plan related to Customer Solutions activities with a clear objective in increasing penetration of Information Value Products (iVP)
  • Establish and manage the Customer Solutions function "Go to market"- offering customer facing consultancy through solutions (mainly around KN Login, KN FreightNet and other iVPs)
  • Training of Sales team and multipliers (including account owners in operations)
  • Establish and manage the Customer Solutions function "Project Management" offering implementation and integration / EDI projects
  • Establish and manage the Customer Solutions function "SAVE" solutions consulting offering to client :
  • Target suitable clients in pipeline or existing business;
  • Align with account owners for engagement with client;
  • Sell process to clients and agree kick-off;
  • Ensure timely closure and presentation of value proposition;
  • Alignment with all Business units (Air / Sea / Overland) and vertical owners within country
  • Communication between other KN counter-parts in the region
  • Main contact for KN Regional Customer Solutions team
  • Managing overall continuous improvement
  • Ensure correct prioritization for national specific requirements are represented in the regional customer solutions community
  • Escalation point for Customer Solutions related issues.
  • Your skills and experience

  • Strong affinity with e-commerce, electronic media, and customer-facing information value products in general
  • Knowledge of supply chain and logistics
  • Successful Completion of BE GCIM Training
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Driving license is mandatory as well as the willingness to travel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Arabic would be a plus.
  • Prior experience in Project Management would be a plus
  • Strong coaching experience, strong tactical and analytical awareness, quality driven
  • Good understanding of operational processes across all functional units
