Timely administration of all aspects of lease management.
Preparation of space and land leases and business licenses.
Ensuring all the new and renewal contracts are legally vetted and exceptions are reported to the line manager.
Identification & management of risks in lease contracts and recording it in the system.
Conducting market search and identification of prospective properties for office setup.
Development of methodologies for the establishment of building rental rates.
Knowledge of principles of contract law and common law applicable to lease / license / contract administration.
Knowledge of lease statutory regulations and requirements.
Skills in negotiating, problem solving, exchanging information, interpreting, consulting, monitoring and enforcing.
Conduct market analysis from time to time to build business intelligence for MIS preparation and presentation.
Coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure all the payments (including VAT payments) are promptly made and tracked diligently.
Undertake property inspections and ensure compliance with lease terms, essential services and maintenance requirements.
Liaise with the government authorities to ensure all relevant government requirements are met.
Ensure the properties are insured and form part of the insurance documentation.
Co-ordinate with the landlords for any maintenance to be undertaken.
Ensure all documents are retained in accordance with the policies and procedures.
Ensure all lease matters are undertaken in accordance with relevant statutory procedures and requirements.
Conduct year end lease projection report for budgeting.
Handling logistics arrangements and ensuring periodic review is undertaken to ensure efficient
Eductaion : Bachelors / Diploma
Sound knowledge of statutory requirements relevant to the Local Government Act and Land / Lease Administration Act.
