Accountabilities - Maintain an active research programme in an area of relevance to the aviation industry. - Develop and promote EAU’s Research Centre and encourage all faculty to contribute to research activities as well as to provide guidance and support to individuals and cross-
disciplinary teams. - Plan and coordinate the deployment of EAU’s Research Strategy including the development of research infrastructure across the University and the acquisition of external research funding.
Qualifications : - Phd. (12+ or equivalent) Experience : - 8+ years - Demonstrated experience developing and leading a collaborative research initiative -
A strong record of research output in terms of publications and / or other relevant outcomes - Experience of academic and administrative leadership in a University -
Teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate level as a faculty member - Experience of supervision of postgraduate students -
Experience in fundraising activities that enhance the resource base of a University Knowledge / skills : - High level technical expertise in a field of relevance to the aviation industry -
A record of senior authorship in peer-reviewed publications - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders -
