Recruitment Assistant - Johannesburg
Reports to : TAMS Panel Manager
Purpose of the job
Assist Recruitment and Research teams in ensuring that the correct TAMS households are recruited timeously, that the household information is captured and exported to the household master database accurately, complying with all standard operation procedures concerning TAMS Panel Sampling and Recruitment.
Key Performance Areas / Responsibilities /
Tasks to be Performed
Preparation and Import of Recruitment Contact Databases
Selection of Households from Recruitment database for recruitment
Assigning Households to Recruiters
Tracking recruitment progress and keeping accurate records of issued recruits and their status’s
Maintain status’s of HH’s selected for recruitment, keeping Recruitment databases clean
Assist recruiters with queries and FWS problems
Assist in the training of new recruiters
Ensure correct use of and accurate data capture on FWS by recruiters
Exporting HH’s from the Recruitment Database to Pollux Household Master
Report problems related to the Recruitment database or Pollux Recruitment module
Opening Work Orders for new installations
Cancellation of households that failed pre-installation call
Tracking installations of new households and de-installation of aged homes
Liaising with Panel Management Counselling team and Quality Control team in terms of installations / de-installations
General assisting of recruiters, including supervision after hours / weekends
Analysing and tracking interviewer performance
Implementing and execute recruitment quality controls, including telephonic back-checks on recruited households
Assist in monitoring of the TAM panel balance
Assist in panel management of DStv households
General TAM research tasks i.e. Welcome packs for households, emailing newsletters to households, incentives, checking of recruitment questionnaire, etc.
Clerical duties include processing of monthly interviewer claims, filing, ordering of stationary, etc.
Minimum Education Required to Perform Job
Computer Literate Excel, Word
Skills and Competencies
Knowledge of two or more vernacular languages an advantage
Proactive and reliable
Ability to work within team
Good communication skills and professional interaction
Able to work under pressure
Ability to work to deadlines
Minimum Experience / Training required to perform the Job
Previous office / admin experience
