Summary of Responsibilities :
Offer consistently professional, friendly, warm and engaging service
Be available for Guests at all times as a point of contact
Actively represent all standards of the Arabian Cultural Connection program, and interact with guests using the coffee and dates station.
Plays vital part by welcoming guests upon arrival to the hotel main door, escorting guests to check-in point, attending to guests on queue, greeting guests on their way to breakfast and inquire about their satisfaction, and bidding farewell to departing guests at the hotel main door.
Extend personal service and attention to all Guests, with particular emphasis to Club Lounge and VIP Guests
Maintain effective communication with all related departments to ensure a smooth service delivery
Proactively meet arriving guests at the main entrance and once they exit their transportation
Proactively offering all guests entering the lobby assistance
Seeks out revenue opportunities such as taking restaurant reservations, sales leads etc.
Maintains and promotes up to date knowledge of the hotel and local services and supply information and respond to Guest queries
Deal promptly, efficiently and pleasantly with any queries
Be aware of all special offers, promotions, and packages at the hotel to promote to guests
Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
Comply with the hotel environment, health and safety policies and procedures
We are looking for a well organized and creative candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is able to display a passion for perfection and work in a dynamic environment.

Previous service experience required
Must possess a professional presentation
Must possess outstanding guest services skills and sophisticated verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Physical Aspects of Position :
Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following :
Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
Visa requirements :
Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in Dubai. Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair will cover visa costs and flights for selected candidates from place of origin.
